Welcome to the Pro-LOW website. We are an independent Lake of the Woods citizens association.  Our Steering Committee is a group of Lake of the Woods property owners who have come together to promote the positive aspects of our community. We are a diverse group.  It includes retired government professionals, businessmen, retired corporate executives, professional women, retired military personnel, community leaders and homemakers.  Click on the "Steering Committee" tab to view the names of the members.

We believe it is absolutely essential to maintain and improve association infrastructure and amenities and to meet the changing needs of the community.  We are not advocates of any particular amenity nor do we believe there is any one solution to a problem.

By regulation and covenant, the Board of Directors of the Lake of the Woods Association has a fiduciary responsibility to maintain and enhance our property values.  This requires sound fiscal management and prudent expenditure of our funds.  We totally reject irresponsible policies which in previous years have led to deterioration of our amenities and infrastructure and depletion of our capital reserves.

We need support from a large cross section of the community.  It’s important that we all promote the positive aspects of living at Lake of the Woods.  Accordingly, we are looking for dedicated members to serve on forums and committees of the Lake of the Woods Association.
